On February 7, 2024, the 14th International Invention Fair in the Middle East (IIFME-2024) ended. The exhibition is held annually under the patronage of the Kuwait Science Club in partnership with the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA) and International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva.
The Russian delegation was headed by Mr. Oleg Neretin, the director of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (affiliated organization of Rospatent). The delegation held a bilateral meeting with representatives of the intellectual property sector of Kuwait: Kuwait Science Club and the Department of Patents and Trademarks of the Ministry of Commerce of the State of Kuwait. The parties discussed possible areas for joint work, especially in the scientific and educational sphere.
The International Invention Fair in the Middle East took place from February 4 to 7, 2024, with the participation of more than 300 inventors from more than 30 countries. IIFME is one of the world's leading platforms specializing in the subject of inventions and innovations, traditionally attracting close attention of more than 15'000 visitors, including investors, business people, entrepreneurs and experts in the promotion and commercialization of innovations. In addition, IIFME is the only exhibition in the world with a permanent prize fund, which this year exceeded $40,000.
